Welcome

Here you'll find some of the different pieces of furniture and decor I've designed and built over the years. They are not necessarily products for sale, but rather serve as examples for things I can do. If you are interested in me recreating a piece, or if you have something else in mind, please do get in touch!

And if it wasn't clear enough from my subpar photoshop skills, most of the backgrounds are fake, as I don't have access to a proper photo studio.

TV Bench "Robyn"

When my sister asked me to design and build a slim and simple TV bench for them, I took it as an opportunity to try some new designs for the legs, as most TV benches I've designed in the past were meant for wall mounting.

TV Bench "Slimline"

For our smaller TV in the bedroom, I really wanted to replace the old IKEA shelf that was starting to s(lack). I also needed somewhere to hide our new Nintendo Switch.

TV Bench "Woofer"

I've always liked the notion of integrating functionality within the furniture piece itself, so built in speakers for a TV bench felt like a logical step in that direction. I took inspiration from the speakers themselves, combining it with the general style direction of our home.

TV Bench "Tvärsnitt"

A friend of mine needed a piece for his new TV after he moved. Thinking it would be a fun, regular sized piece to design and build, I agreed. Little did I know he had designed it himself, as a large and heavy cabinet.

Pet House "B(unny) Minor"

If you're strange enough to have rabbits instead of something like a cat, you'd know that hay gets everywhere. As our little guy is free roaming, he needed somewhere to eat and do his business that wasn't a cage, but still kept everything tidy and private.

Stool "Västervik"

What was supposed to simply be a copy of a very simple stool for my collegue, turned in to me suggesting a few, more interesting, design options. They liked the designs enough to ask for 3 of them.

Stool "Luxury Class"

Together with Västervik, Luxury Class was one of the design alternatives I suggested for my collegue's replacement stool. As Västervik was a slightly more over-designed alternative, I wanted to offer something simplistic.

Cabinet "Poly"

This triangle styled cabinet was one of my first design ideas many years back, and the first iteration was done using screws and warped wood during a woodworking project in middle school. Since then I have iterated on the design and improved it in many ways.

Bedside Table "Trådlös"

Before I built these, we had some old IKEA tables by the bed. They always felt out of place and in the way. To solve both problems, I made these floating tables with integrated wireless charging.

Decor Stand "Päronpinne"

The same friend that wanted to build a TV bench, had also blown his own glass ornament, and needed a way to display it. We opted for a more angled design, to counteract the more rounded shape of the glass. You can even spot it hanging out in "Tvärsnitt".

Painting "Månbäck"

You see a lot of these types of structured paintings using plaster today, so we wanted to give it a go. For a first try, I feel that it turned out pretty well.

Clock "Brass Dots"

The piece of decor I've built most is probably clocks. After making various designs, I wanted to create a very simple, stylish clock without numbers, so brass dots on plain wood felt like a smart choice that works for various sizes and colors of wood.

Clock "Immanuel Sexkant"

Originally thrown together using some scrap pieces, which gave me the idea for a hexagon style clock. It's quite useless, as I have yet to meet anybody that meassures time in 1.5h increments.

Clock "Förtid"

A slightly more futuristic clock design that displays an analog face using 12 LED lights behind a thin wooden pane, with a hidden touch sensor to set the time.

Wine Rack "Sniskan"

Taking inspiration from self-balancing bottle holders, I wanted a wall mounted version that could host more than one. Basically my simplest design, yet remains one of my favorites.

Trivet "Gallrad"

The perfect, boring, give to everyone, gift. It's useful, not too difficult to create, yet stylish enough to be thoughftul.

Chassi "CRT"

If you don't have enough space for a secondary screen, but still want some extra pixels, why not integrate a small screen into the PC itself?

Chassi "Tavlan"

Having PC parts that look unecessarily stylish in an enclosed box that you can't see doesn't feel appropriate. So why not have them on a proper display? Who cares about dust anyway (it's actually not that bad, being so far from the floor).
